  Why Roe vs Wade Overturning Made Me Sad   By Jennifer Moodie 6/25/2022 So Roe v Wade was overturned this week. Before we go any further I want to say that I am pro-life (and not just pro/birth…). But that isn’t what this post is about.  My social media timeline has been….a mess. Some people are angry; Some are hurting; Some are spewing things they don’t actually have the facts to back but it supports their narrative; Some are calling for Christians to step up; some are genuinely rejoicing; and some are gloating like a Jr. Higher who just won a sports game against their arch nemesis team. It has been heavy and emotionally draining.  I am not here to speak on politics. I don’t know enough   to make an informed statement so I will refrain from being a fool. I am also not here to condemn anyone. By Jennifer Moodie 6/3/2022  * taking deep breath and letting it out slowly * It’s June again. Which means it is “Pride Month”. Which also means Christians are once again up in arms. They are angry. They are making fun. They are voicing their distain for homosexuals and their "need" for pride and celebration in their sin. They are more angry than the other 11 months over how “the gays/queers/sodomites” are seemingly shoving their sin in our faces and forcing us to acknowledge and accept and see it.  They lament that our entertainment is brainwashing our kids and we need to guard them from seeing homosexuality depicted. They wish to go back to an unnamed point in time where homosexuality remained a secret sin. Because secrets sins are better than public ones I guess... The sin seems to be not as big of an issue as the attitude surrounding it.  Dear men, It is warming up outside. Now, the Bible is clear that modesty is essential, and that lust of the heart is the same as adultery. So I implore you to remember that even though you are hot, it doesn’t mean that modesty goes out the open window. For the sake of your sisters in Christ, please don’t uncover yourself as the weather increases in temperature.  Just because you are hot doesn’t mean you can mow the yard in a tank top, showing off your arms and shoulders. Or, heaven forbid, without a shirt at all… and let’s not forget to mention swimming. There is absolutely no reason you can’t swim with a shirt on. A dark shirt preferably. And keep a towel handy because your wet clothing suctioned to your body when you come out of the water is hard to resist staring at. And while we are at it, I recommend a plastic jock strap under your swim trunks…. Trust me. Just…trust me.  Remember that your sisters need to guard our eyes, so posting pictures of yourself in the gym, all sweaty with
